We're searching for a Casual Receptionist for our Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Clinic

About the role

Action Physiotherapy is looking for a casual receptionist with a friendly & caring attitude, and a strong work ethic; A proactive and reliable individual to support our staff and our community.


Duties and responsibilities to include:

  • Greet clients, manage walk-in's and be the primary contact for first time patents
  • Managing appointments
  • Processing payments 
  • Answering phones and recalling patients
  • General administrative support to the business
  • Overall Studio presentation, tidy and prepare areas for staff


We are looking to fill a role on: 

  • Monday and Thursday 3pm – 630pm 
  • Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 3pm – 6pm 


Skills and experience


What we need from you:

  • Motivated, positive and works well within a team environment.
  • Passionate about the health industry or willingness to learn about the different services we offer. 
  • Previous experience working in a medical or allied health reception or administrative role (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills oral and written (able to relate to a wide population, children, elderly, parents etc)
  • Strong organisation skills, self-direction and attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong initiative to work without direct supervision.
  • Create and review processes to increase efficiency in the running of the clinic. 
  • Previous experience using Cliniko (preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to be flexible at short notice to cover leave and illness is desirable.
