Tell us a little about yourself...
Spent the last 21 years as an Aeronautical Life Support Fitter in the RAAF. Grew up in North West NSW but I currently live in Salamander Bay. I began studying massage in 2014 and studied fitness and Bowen Therapy as complimentary treatments.

What made you want to become a Massage Therapist? How did you know it was the right career for you?
Working in a stressful environment and having the experience of being injured , I started receiving regular massages to look after myself. I realised the importance of self care and that ignited my interest in helping others.

How long did it take you to study and where did you study?
Feb 14 - Sep 15 Massage Therapy (Cert IV) - Australian College of Massage

Oct 15 - Sept 17 Massage Therapy (Diploma) - Evolve College

Mar 14 - Sept 15 Fitness (Cert IV) - MMISS

And I'm currently studying Bowen Therapy.

What's your favourite part of the job?
Seeing people recover from their pain/injuries and leave with a smile.

What's the hardest part of the job?
Being limited in helping people through acute pain periods.

What's your favourite meal/food to eat in Newcastle?
Love Thai food.
